Some comments re: the Final recommendations for Agreed Conclusions (Youth caucus):
Firstly, well done all! It is evident that much hard work has gone into these recommended revisions in light of the needs of young people.
Just a few suggested changes:
w. (1st line: change word) services and programs or initiatives (rather than activities)
(4th line: re-wording) paying particular attention to the support, counseling and training young caregivers require, especially due to their inability to access formal education and therefore being left alone without the means to fend for themselves.
z. (3rd line – add words) the media, including social networking websites,
(ADD: re-wording) provide universal access to education, including non-formal education, for the girl child, young woman and society at large, and ensure that the education curriculum and training processes are non-biased and non discriminatory, to transform attitudes, prevailing norms and gender stereotypes.
